Review of Chapter 27 (2007) by Chad O — 06 Mar 2009
Not too great, but worth a rental. Jared Leto does a good job as Mark David Chapman and his interesting performance really keeps the film afloat because not a whole hell of a lot happens in this one, so you better have a decent lead and he pulls it off, thankfully.
He actually looks a lot like the lovechild of Me and my friend Erik from back at Central. So maybe I like the movie better than I should...? But the music score is classy and really good, kind of better than the movie deserves in a way.
It's a respectable failure, in a way.
