Chappie is one of those movies where you will either enjoy it or hate it. If you like the Directors past work like District 9 or Elysium then I'm sure you will enjoy this movie. It's entertaining and tries to tell a more person story than I thought it would.
Having said that if you are not a fan of the director then you may not like it seeing as his style of filming is different than a lot of others in Hollywood. If you are a fan of artificial intelligence or Sci fi type movies then you will like this.
