Review of Chappie (2015) by Freddie K — 04 Sep 2015
An Outstanding performance by Sharlto Copley doesn't excuse that this film is quite messy. Hugh Jackman's character was a massive stereotype piled with average acting and it was very hard to like any of the characters in this movie.
I liked seeing how Chappie learnt about things and evolved through a difficult society that exists today in South Africa which is why I didn't rate this lower (contender for best character of 2015 in my opinion, really impressive stuff) but for everything else, pretty damn lame.
