Review of Chappie (2015) by Charlie C — 24 Jan 2016
Chappie has some very good ideas that do work (and some that don't) along with some state of the art special effects and a very likeable performance from sharlo Copley as chappie and Dev Patel as Dion but the narrative is very jumbled with many inconsistencies along with a very poorly written villain who's motivation is only briefly touched on, the characters of Yolandi and ninja are very unlikable,unsympathetic and very annoying.
Grade:C.
