Review of Chappie (2015) by Eric D — 15 Jul 2016
Chappie is a unique film with an acquired taste. It has many dark elements but bright ones as well. The film is like a fusion of Robocop, Avatar, Short Circuit and District 9. It also leaves it open for a sequel but that could ruin the film if a bad writer gets on the project.
