170605: Some aspects of this film really appealed to me. There are cool weapons and characters that transition from disdain to care. Chappie's personality, though annoying at first, grew on me with time.
Unfortunately, the pace was a bit lacking and generally speaking I just didn't find myself drawn into the story. My son, 12, found himself distracted.
