Review of Chappie (2015) by Diogomendes — 28 May 2015
What a load of garbage! "Chappie", like most Neill Blomkamp's offers, is visually striking and boasts a well-chosen cast, but unlike Neill's other movies, "Chappie" is hampered by unlikable, underdeveloped secondary characters, heavy-handed narrative elements and a familiar message. It's depressing and manipulative in some sense. I apologize to those who liked it, but I couldn't stand it.
