I'm a Sci Fi fan so I looked forward to this latest creation, but it was a significant disappointment. Further exploration of the possibilities of AI is a worthy plot line, and I give them credit for the police patrol context as being very plausible.
What fell short was that no one really changed that much in the movie - no wrestling with moral or relational issues and finding a higher resolution. Also, [SPOILER ALERT] uploading the protagonist's entire consciousness in minutes was wholly unbelievable.
