Review of Chappie (2015) by Eleanor N — 06 Sep 2015

I honestly thought it was a kid's movie about robot, so I've postponed seeing it until now. It turned out to be much, much better than what I expected. Chappie is so cute when he was just 'born', and the part when Ninja dropped him off in a random place to get beaten and burned made me really emotional (which is not that embarrassing thankfully coz I was watching it on my own).

Most of the actors, in my opinion, carried out their parts pretty well. I can't give this movie 5 stars though because the plot is a little bit underwhelming, also the character's names are weird af, I mean Ninja? Amerika? A gang lord named Hippo??? And seriously naming a heavy weapon platform "MOOSE" is like dooming it from the get-go.
