Review of Chappie (2015) by Nathan C — 23 Jul 2016
This movie was a lot better than I thought it would be. Don't listen to the critics at all and see it. Don't expect a funny movie or an action movie though. Expect a drama and it delivers. This movie was highly fascinating, high intensity, and had amazing visuals.
It opens a door to a world that we could very possibly see in the near future, and shows all the bleak reality it could cause. A wholesome movie that leaves me wishing for more. The only bad thing is the actors that play "gangstas" that tend to take center stage for a large portion of the film.
They should have cast different people than some lame wanna be musicians that don't know how to act. Overall though it did very well in my opinion. I don't understand why all the hate.
