Review of Chappaquiddick (2018) by Eric F — 16 Apr 2018
Chappaquiddick delivers and insightful look at the events behind Ted Kennedy's troubled life. Jason Clarke does incredible work to embody the Lion of the Senate as he grapples with traditional family values and independent thought.
I could imagine myself making similar decisions when blinded by power and stardom and thus related to the performance given by the cast and writing crew. These realities are not so distant from our every day dealings, which is why I believe this film is as useful as any other to understand the value of dignity and the challenge of saving face in an increasingly business-minded and political world.
