Review of Chaplin (2011) by Seb J — 13 Nov 2012
A very decent and honest effort about the life of the legend himself. Robert Downney Jr. plays Chaplin, as Attenborough tries to focus on the politics in Chaplin's life.
All credit to Downey as he completely transforms to Chaplin's younger self. The older Chaplin, not so much. Even though not Attenborough's best, definitely a great biopic. Specially loved the the first opening scene involving starting credits.
Despite the mixed reviews, I enjoyed it.
