Review of Chaplin (1992) by Keith C — 12 Sep 2008
I am a total lover of "bio-pics" of sorts. I have never seen this movie prior to this week. I have owned it an never put it on. All I ever heard was RDJr was great. Well after seeing him in Tropic Thunder where he SHOULD win some awards, his portrayal as Chaplin was incredible.
He recreates with total believability the essence of Charlie Chaplin. He certainly deserved the Oscar nomination. The star studded supporting cast were all great. It was a great film and I am sorry I didn't get to it sooner.
If you haven't seen it and you should make the time.
