The first time I saw it was 4 years ago, and I thought it was better back then. Geraldine Chaplin isn't very good and neither are the child actors. It isn't until Downey shows up that this thing takes off.
Downey carries the whole thing with some occasional brilliance from Attenborough, mimicing old Chaplin films to show their adventures. Recommended mostly for Downey.
