Review of Chaplin (1992) by Marcus W — 30 Nov 2011
Usually biopics are a case of childhood - rise - fall - redemption. Attenborough mixes it up and directs his heart out, with Downey Jr on top form in the lead role. A host of other stars pop up, but it's these two and their obvious love for Chaplin that carries the film.
Definitely worth watching even if you know nothing of Chaplin.
