Like any Doug Liman's films, his frenetic film making style often leads to reshoots and heaps of drama behind the scenes. Chaos Walking literally describes his style ironically, but its actual result is nothing but.
It is a surprisingly well acted, sci fi Young Adult film, starring two of the most "in" young actors of its time i.e. Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley, along with a surprisingly strong supporting cast.
It also has a very unique concept behind it that intrigues. Again, I mention this analogy time and time again, if released on a streaming platform, I believe critics will be more receptive of it.
