Review of Chaos Theory (2008) by Danny B — 09 Jul 2008
No pizza place, but the rest is there.
It's good, I thought the climax was suspect, it built with potential, but then seemed very normal and thoughtless.
The acting for the most part is mediocre, I suspect upon a second viewing you may notice more bad acting, but first time around it's satisfactory.
Reynolds is delightful as the traditional "man gone free after epiphany", but struggles to play an older version of himself, (unaided by limits on the make-up budget).
As I write this, I see that OPEC members just cleared a few trillion in profits this correlated directly to the rise in oil prices, OPEC's profits went up 80% as did the price of oil...weird coincidence.
I shouldn't watch the news when writing reviews, anyways. It's one of the better romantic comedies I've seen in a while, so check it out if your into that kind of thing, don't check it out thought if you demand something new from your flicks, something challenging...it's just not there.
