Review of Changeling (2008) by Kyle S — 23 Mar 2011
Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich shine in this truly disturbing look at Los Angeles corruption in the early 20th century. I came into the movie not expecting anything good (Im not a big Clint Eastwood Fan) but when the credits started to roll I was completley surprised at how much I liked the film and just what an amazing job Angelina Jolie did of completley conquering a very difficult role that I wouldn't have thought she was capable of.
(Also not a big Angelina Jolie fan) The other thing that made this film so chilling to me was the way it properly portrayed the corrupt system of law enforcment and life in Los Angeles in general. Very Impressed and easily one of Clint Eastwood's better films of rescent years in my opinion.
