Anytime you see a movie that says "directed by Clint Eastwood", it means its top notch! Although this wasn't my favourite of his movies, this was still a well written, well acted film. The set design was amazing as well as the costume designer. The actors in this film had a distinct 1920's kind of look which also made the whole move more realistic and believable.
Very sad story....I recommend reading up on the chicken coop murders before watching this.
