Review of Changeling (2008) by Rudy M — 15 Jan 2012
This was a surprisingly good movie! It definitely broke a cycle of misses for me.
This is an emotional movie by Clint Eastwood about a woman who struggles with the abduction of her child. Set in the late 1920's for the most part, the movie excels at portraying the era. Jolie does a great as Christine Collins and Eastwood directed her well.
The pacing of the movie is sometimes a little slow, but the mix of character development, drama, suspense, action and mystery works really well in Changeling.
Verdict: kind of a hidden gem.
