JMS' script about a real-life mother who suffers through a horrific ordeal after losing her son is given a professional treatment by director Clint Eastwood. Angelina Jolie evokes genuine woe and determination as the title role.
As one can expect, this film is more than a little bit of a downer. Regardless, if one is in the proper mood while watching it, Changeling is a good choice for a movie night.
