Review of Changeling (2008) by Ricardo E — 30 May 2014
Eastwood has directed much better films in recent years. This one in particular deals with a very tough subject, unknown in most of USA, even more so overseas. Jolie gives it all as Chrstine, a young mother that never gives up her search for her kidnapped child, often above her lines.
Some powerful scenes are enhanced by a brilliant supporting cast. But, at the end, this Eastwood is far away from Mystic River, Unforgiven or Grand Torino.
