The premise for this movie is kinda strange in a sometimes-not-so-good way, and it's also very strange to see Robert Downey Jr. kissing Cybil Shepherd. But it's 1989-Robert Downey Jr, so he's completely adorable and makes it work somehow.
Even in kinda crappy movies he works his magic.
