I really got sucked into this one. I loved the way the music was worked better into the plot better then usual. The story got me too. I thought Rahul Bose was amazing, and while I don't usually care for Kareena Kapoor, she gave a great performance.
A great effort and worth anyone's time. This would be a great introduction to Bollywood for most Americans. Then, transition to something like Dhoom 2 for the action and then Om Shanti Om for the full effect.
