Pretty average fare, with a tendency toward the overdramatic. The first half of the film is an unimaginative but enjoyable beginning to the romance. The attempts at deeper exploration in the second half however fail to resonate and leave the film feeling overlong.
Which at nearly three hours it definitely is.
