Review of Chalet Girl (2011) by Gareth T — 21 May 2011
At a glance many are going to dismiss this as nonsense. Which is a crying shame as Felcity Jones confrims her ability to perfom a strong comedic and heart-warming performance. Nighy and Westwick unexpectedly spark well of one another and Bailey provides that quintesential English comfort factor with Egerton delivering the 'sloane-ranger' role perfectly.
A sound and enjoyable film, that delivers what it promises. All in all a charming example of British writing and performing.
