Originally I didn't really want to see this, but my best friend convinced me otherwise. It really wasn't that bad though. It's creepy, the acting is good, the overall atmosphere is unsettling, and it has a good surprise at the end. Some things aren't really well explained (motivations etc) but that doesn't really take away from the movie. In fact, it probably adds to it because it encourages discussion.
With all that to say, and no really strong examples of issues/flaws, why then did I only rate it 3/5? I've seen better. I just didn't get overly invested in it and it just didn't really sink deep into my psyche.
Still, not bad.
What did this movie teach me? Trauma affects everyone in a different way, but it most certainly will affect them.
