Review of Certified Copy (2010) by Evangelos C — 09 Oct 2011
A little too long and somewhat difficult to understand, but very good in terms of acting, direction and photography. Major and minor characters are all intriguing and performed very well, and the direction and lightning are more than impressive, further enhancing the picturesque landscapes and architecture.
In general, the main and background action unfolds organically and realistically; a fact which, combined with the long shots, adds to this movie feeling a little like a documentary. Despite the dialogues, which are dominant, this is a clearly cinematic film and lacks theatrical elements.
