I was so excited to see this film. It did not live up to expectations. I think the filmmaker was trying to paint the women as complex and interesting. She failed. All three stories were boring. Additionally, the filmmaker spent inexplicable amounts of time on mundane things and sometimes would repeat the things scene after scene.

I get that one character in particular led a very mundane and repetitive life, you don't have to show me her mucking out stalls four times to understand that. The actresses did their best with these characters and a lack of plot.

The stories were much more interesting and richer on paper and should have stayed there.
