Review of Central Intelligence (2016) by Derek W — 19 Jul 2016
Exudes charm, primarily by placing its lead actor The Rock in a role that is half exactly-what-you-expect bad-ass CIA agent, but half totally-opposite-of-what-you-expect lovable giant, who wears a fanny pack and loves Sixteen Candles.
Kevin Hart, Dwayne Johnson' opposite, plays the perfect foil to that unique character - a low-key accountant who gets pulled into the chaos. Combine that with fun small roles for the likes of Aaron Paul and Jason Bateman, and you get a cast whose hilarity can easily carry this movie through its kind of muddled plot.
