Central intelligence is an enjoyable, fun action comedy and that's what's important. It summarises the plot quickly allowing it to go straight to action set pieces and jokes. What it does well is making The Rock still look up to Kevin Harts bygone high school popularity King and this gives both a feel good factor as well as giving potential for further comedy.

Although there is one part that has the rock knocked out by a hit man only for the rock to return and not mention how he escaped, a late cutting of a scene perhaps? A breezy and fun summer comedy.
