Review of Central Intelligence (2016) by Chris F — 11 Nov 2016

Central Intelligence is an enjoyable buddy comedy with two very likable leads. Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson are both very good in their roles. They have rest chemistry together, and I hope they do more films together.

I also really liked their characters. The script allows the characters to be fleshed out. It allows the audience to care about them. The story also is pretty good and interesting. I was invested for most of the film.

Unfortunately, some of the jokes aren't that funny. While some worked, some just fell flat. If it wasn't for the two leads, I would've really disliked this film. Overall, this was a passable comedy with two entertaining leads.

It wasn't amazing, but it wasn't terrible. I enjoyed it for what it was.
