Review of Center Stage (2000) by Charlene E — 15 Apr 2009

It was cute. But for a 2000 movie it didn't look that good to me. I've seen 90's movies that look better visually. The story line was good. Every time the guys were dancing, I was like "Flamers." But other than that it was pretty good. I loved Zoe Saldana's character, she was funny. I thought that Jodi Sawyer made a good choice in the end about dance and the company. I could never understand how people get so into ballet, like the shows and cry over them. Watching them I just don't get it.

I hate that they gave her two love interests. I hate when movies do that because sometimes they leave it til the last minute to really resolve it. So I didn't like that.

But other than that it was cute.
