Review of Cemetery Man (1994) by Nathan N — 21 Nov 2008
Starts strong, with visual flair and a hilariously inappropriate sense of humour (Busload of zombie boyscouts!), but peters off a bit toward the end, at which point it gets bogged down in poorly-communicated symbolism, and the jokes get fewer.
I like the Vertigo-esque premise to the love story, but it didn't gel very well with the rest of the film, which really can't decide what to be. I wanted to like this movie more than I eventually did.
