Review of Cemetery Junction (2010) by Mike D — 25 Nov 2010
A film that explores all life's hard questions like 'why does Noddy wear a hat with a bell on it?'.
Whilst the coming of age storyline is very much by the book in most cases and the 70's cultural statements often seem rather too overt it doesn't hinder the entertainment value of this film. A great young cast not overshadowed by it's high profile veterans in supporting roles. Speaking of supporting roles, a very honourable mention to Steve Speirs as Sgt. Wyn Davies, the type of small town cop that my old man gets nostalgic about.
