Review of Cemetery Junction (2010) by Jayden C — 16 Aug 2011
Charming but predictable 70s set comedy from Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.
Where Christian Cooke's character ends up, and who he ends up there with, is pretty clear after about 10 minutes. More interesting is the reconciliation between proto-ASBO Tom Hughes and his father. Slap on some smarmy turns from Ralph Fiennes and Matthew Goode and a decent period soundtrack and you've got a perfectly pleasant way to pass an hour and a half.
