Review of Cellular (2004) by Jamye F — 08 Jul 2008
Watched this last night on TV (second time I have seen it). I like the TV version better because it removed the language (for the most part). This movie wastes no time getting to the action. In the first five minutes Kim Basinger's character is kidnapped, her housekeeper is "dispatched" and a phone is smashed with a sledge hammer.
The plot manages to keep moving and doesn't let you get board with many good car action scenes and some witty comedic moments. William H. Macy can do no wrong and adds some class to this funny action thriller.
