Review of Cellular (2004) by Richard P — 09 Oct 2008
Ok, so the film lacks plausability - the hero is a young single attractive male, the heroine is an attractive, married female. At the beginning of the movie the hero is portrayed as lazy and selfish and a womaniser. So why does he decide to risk his own life chasing round in numerous cars, trying to rescue Kim Basinger, when he knows that she is married and has a kid ? I for one, would have insisted that the police deal with it, rather than hesitate on the stairwell of the police station.
What is good about this flick, is the fast paced action. You want to watch it to the end, even though you can predict the conclusion within the first 10 minutes of the film.
