Review of Celeste & Jesse Forever (2012) by Mesh B — 03 Oct 2013

Sometimes the movie jumps scene and seems amateur, but that's the beauty with Indie movies, no? Celeste and Jesse Forever is not a rom-com nor a funny movie in any case. It's a well-written movie with solid lead cast and good background score. I love Rashida Jones since The Office to Parks and Recreation; she stared in few movies before but without a doubt Celeste and Jesse Forever showcased her hidden talent for bigger opportunity in the future. Where else, Andy Samberg, the SNL comic genius, did well in his first serious role. I also like the supporting cast, such as Chris Mesina, Emma Roberts and Elijah Wood. A bittersweet movie, watch it!
