Not one of Allen's best films. This episodic movie follows the seperate but intertwining lives of a New York couple following their divorce and the atmosphere of celebrity permeating the city in which they live.
There are several clever moments and some bitingly satirical touches, but overall the film seems unfocused. Watch this if you wish to see Kenneth Branagh sustaining a two-hour Woody Allen impression and Bebe Neuwirth teaching Judy Davis how to perform a blowjob on a banana.
