Review of Celebrity (1998) by Andrew E — 18 Jul 2009
Allen tries to stretch into true ensemble territory (i.e. Altman), but fails to keep the cast and story together. However, the chemistry between Judy Davis and Kenneth Branagh and solid, early performances from DiCaprio and Theron are enough to make this not a success nor failure on Allen's part, but somewhere in between.
