Review of Cedar Rapids (2011) by Ruhan R — 08 Aug 2011
Ed Helms finally landed a leading role in a film, and he did a fine job of it. Although this character wasn't all that different from his passive one in The Hangover, Helms was really fun to watch as the naive Tim Lippe.
In combination with John C. Reily, Anne Heche & Isiah Whitlock Jr., the cast of Cedar Rapids managed to deliver a strong performance in this tale of honesty, morality, friendship and testing one's boundries.
I can't think of many films that showcase insurance salespeople, so it deserves some points for originality as well. It was great seeing Kurtwood Smith perform again, his acting was good too. All-in-all a decent watch.
