Review of Cedar Rapids (2011) by Allan C — 13 Aug 2011

Terrific indie comedy! The premise of the film seems like pretty much any other typical lame brain Hollywood comedy (naive man-child, Ed Helms, goes to the big city of Cedar Rapids for wacky adventures).

But the film is much better than that sounds. There's a hilarious supporting cast, particularly the always great John C. Reilly and also Anne Heche. It's the quality of the characters that makes this one better than average and also it's sincere heart.

All around, a great comedy!
