Review of Cedar Rapids (2011) by Sol H — 08 Sep 2011
Unlike others in its genre, Cedar Rapids tries to be subtle. The humor here, presented through sensible (well, mostly) drama, actually works, as opposed to the crude jokes and the loud slapstick situations that often misfire in raunchy comedies.
It's even less obscene than an episode of Office (the TV mokcumentary that launched its hero(?), Ed Helms). Quite a decent(?) comedy!
