Review of Cedar Rapids (2011) by Lee W — 03 Jun 2012
Endlessly likeable, often laugh out loud comedy with Ed Helms' naive, small town insurance salesman sent to a big conference in the titular town when his colleague dies in suspiciously Hutchence-esque circumstances. There he meets boorish John C. Reilly and sultry Anne Heche who teach him how to cut loose.
Although there are plenty of excruciating comments for our hero, Cedar Rapids joins the likes of Happy, Texas as one of those low key, feel good comedies that can't help but put a big grin on your face.
