Review of Cedar Rapids (2011) by Dante D — 11 Jul 2012

I expected 'Cedar Rapids' to be a comedy but I found it to be more of a quirky drama, the film did have comic elements and some occasional scenes were funny but overall it lacked that comedic feel.

The film is well acted but has a weak script, creating a weak narrative and direction. The ending also felt rushed and could've been extended or executed differently. 'Cedar Rapids' is overall an enjoyable film that I recommend, just don't expect greatness.
