Kind of a cross between the 40 Year Old Virgin and the caricatures in Fargo. Helms is just too naive to be believable and John C. Reilly's character is just a bit too over-the-top. Anne Heche easily has the best performance in the movie.
A few laughs, but overall very pedestrian.
