Review of Cedar Rapids (2011) by Compi24 — 16 Jul 2020
Not every joke may land exactly the way it wants, and its take on some facets of workplace behavior may remain decidedly dated, but, nevertheless, the overall "Cedar Rapids" experience is mostly innocuous.
Ed Helms does a decent enough job in the spotlight and John C. Reilly is always a welcomed supporting presence. It also doesn't hurt that the runtime on this thing rests well below the 90 minute mark.
There's even some moderately apt thematic content loaded into the third act that I found particularly refreshing. So, overall, not a regrettable watch in any regard.
