Review of Ceasefire (2009) by Minna S — 25 Aug 2010
The war in Iraq through the eyes of the foreign doctors and journalists, trying to equip a hospital. The tension is high but the outcome isn't the most unpredictable.
The Iraqi rebels/soldiers/Kalashnikov-holders are seen unpretentiously as evil death machines. The Americans, however, are in the country for the protection of civilians but on the other hand they are the ones who bombed the hospital. So, the lesson is that the civilians suffer because of the both of these parties. Even the ones who are trying to help.
