Review of Cave of Forgotten Dreams (2010) by Chris M — 04 Aug 2011
Herzog has brilliantly utilized the 3D technology to fully immerse the audience in its magnificent subject matter; nevertheless, this "experience" loses steam in the second half as the film drags into Herzog's (annoyingly) repetitive existential/philosophical narratives and imagery.
It could be a masterpiece if it would be cut down to 45 - 60 minutes.
